An Experienced Attorney-Mediator
Forrest Collins is an experienced divorce attorney who focuses his practice solely on mediation. Most people think that the divorce process has to be long, difficult and expensive. They don't realize that you can actually have a "good" divorce. Forrest devotes his practice helping people have a constructive, respectful divorce process.
Forrest is originally from Minnesota, though he has spent most of his life in the Willamette valley. When not in the office Forrest enjoys doing things outdoors, checking out Portland’s eateries, and spending time with his wife and their three daughters.

Let’s settle your case.
There are many quality divorce mediators in the Portland area. Here are a few reasons to choose Forrest:
Practice Limited to Family Law
Forrest limits his practice exclusively to family law. When you work with Forrest you can be confident that you are working with someone who has extensive knowledge and expertise in Oregon family law.
Commitment to Excellence
Forrest is a past Board member of the Oregon Association of Collaborative Professionals, Oregon Mediation Association and the ADR Section of the Oregon State Bar. Additionally, Forrest has spent a substantial amount of time developing this website as a resource for clients.
Experience
Forrest has been an attorney since 2006 and has been mediating since 2008. Forrest’s practice is currently limited to mediation, and he has successfully helped over 800 families settle their cases.
No Retainer Requirement
Many firms require a substantial retainer fee. We don’t. You will be asked to place a credit card on file to pay the fees for your case.
Phone and Online Appointments
For your convenience phone or online appointments can be scheduled in place of in person meetings. This tends to work well for clients who live in a different part of the state, travel for work or just cannot make it to the office due to work or child care constraints. You can choose to have your initial consultation (and any subsequent meeting) over the phone or in in person. A phone appointment is scheduled just like an in person appointment. This is just one more way our office tries to make this difficult transition a little bit easier for you.
Online Scheduling
You can schedule your own appointment using our online scheduling system. Forrest’s calendar is updated in real time so you can easily figure out a time that is convenient for you.
But don’t just take our word for it. Check out our client testimonials and Avvo reviews.
