Forrest R. Collins is a divorce mediator and Collaborative Law attorney who focuses his practice on the constructive resolution of family disputes. Many people are unaware there are options for resolving family disputes other than going through traditional litigation such as mediation and Collaborative Law. At an initial consultation you can expect to spend time not only discussing the facts of your case, but also discussing what will be the most appropriate process option.
Forrest received his law degree from Willamette University College of Law in Salem, Oregon and did his undergraduate studies at Linfield College. While at Willamette he studied at the nationally acclaimed Center for Dispute Resolution. That experience, combined with his experience in family law litigation, has led Forrest to focus his practice on dispute resolution.
Forrest is originally from Minnesota, though he has spent most of his life in the Willamette valley. When not in the office Forrest enjoys doing things outdoors, checking out Portland’s eateries, and spending time with his wife and their three daughters.
